Some activities do not support multiple related contacts/documents

Tasks created automatically via a document workflow or process model may potentially add include multiple contacts or documents. However, not all activities support multiple records in this way. For example, the telephone message activity only supports a single related contact from which the telephone number to dial is usually obtained. Conversely, other activities such as document distribution support multiple related documents.
 
Currently, the task properties window only allows one such related record to be edited. Furthermore, you may encounter error messages if a task has multiple related records and the activity does not support this.
